The TR-6530N Filter Combination for TR-600 Series Powered Air Purifying Respirators

The TR-6530N is a filter combination designed by 3M to provide high efficiency particulate filtration and protection against organic vapors and acid gases. It is specifically designed for use with the TR-600 series Powered Air Purifying Respirators.

This filter/cartridge is ideal for operations where the primary hazard is airborne debris, particulate matter, and certain organic vapors such as acid gases. It effectively filters out these hazards, ensuring a safer breathing environment for the user.

To enhance the durability and longevity of the filter/cartridge, 3M recommends the use of the TR-6500FC filter cover. This cover not only helps protect the filter/cartridge from physical damage but also serves as a holder for the TR-6600 prefilter or TR-662 spark arrestor, keeping them securely in place.

For extended run time of the Powered Air Purifying Respirator system, it is recommended to select the TR-632 High Capacity Battery when using this cartridge. This ensures maximum performance and longer usage time.

The TR-6530N filter combination has received NIOSH approval for protection against organic vapors, acid gases, and a range of other hazardous substances including SD (Sulfur Dioxide), HC (Hydrogen Chloride), CL (Chlorine), HF (Hydrogen Fluoride), and HE (High Efficiency) particulates.
